How we Ship

Our merchandise is shipped via UPS. We package all items securely to prevent any damage. Shipments over $100 will require a signature.

About our Camcorders

All VHS camcorders have been discontinued for over 5 years. The units that we carry are either display models, open box or refurbished. They are all tested by our technicians, we only sell products that meet our strict standards. All features and accessories included with your camcorder are guaranteed to meet manufacturer specifications. Some of our camcorders may include generic or after market batteries, chargers or other accessories if the original accessories did not meet manufacturers specifications (example: If the manufacturer stated a battery should last 50 minutes and in our tests it did not work or only lasted 15 minutes we will substitute a battery that meets the manufacturers original specifications).

Information on Warranty of Products

All the products we carry have a 90 day, from date of purchase, warranty against any defects. If a product is not working as per manufacturers specifications we will exchange the unit for you at no cost to you. If you require an extended warranty please contact us.

Dead on Arrival?

All merchandise that is defective upon receipt will be replaced free of additional charge within 30 days of receipt of goods.

What if my package was damaged in shipping?

If you notice shipping damage upon delivery of goods to one or more of the boxes, please note the fact with the driver. Please contact us within 7 days of receipt of the damaged parcel. Once a claim has been made, vhsequipment.com will work with the carrier to have the damaged goods picked up. We will arrange for repair or replacement of your product at no additional charge to you.

What if I don't like the item

Within 15 days of receipt of your purchase, you may return your hardware purchase in its original packaging for 85% of the then-current price of the equipment less shipping charges for store credit or merchandise exchange. Another shipping charge will be assessed against substituted merchandise. EQUIPMENT PRICES CHANGE FREQUENTLY AND WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.

Refused Orders

All refused orders will be subject to a 5% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable. In addition, refused orders may be subject to additional shipping charges to cover the cost of returning the products to VHSequipment.com.

Special Orders

No returns or refunds will be made for items that are special ordered for you without the written consent of VHSequipment.com in each instance prior to purchase. Please consult a VHSequipment.com service representative with questions.

Return Procedure

Return merchandise cannot be accepted without a RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION. To obtain a RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION (RMA) please call VHSequipment.com at 631-944-8417 or e-mail sales@vhsequipment.com. VHSequipment.com will NOT accept returns without a Return Merchandise Authorization.

In order to obtain credit for any equipment purchase, you must return the equipment including all manuals, blank registration cards, accessories and packing materials, etc, in the original packaging. The equipment must not be damaged in any way. VHSequipment.com will NOT accept incomplete returns.

Returned goods must be shipped freight-prepaid and insured.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 IN NO EVENT SHALL VHSEQUIPMENT.COM BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, IN DIRECT, EXEMPLARY OR PUNATIVE DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST REVENUE OR PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, WHETHER OR NOT VHSEQUIPMENT.COM HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBLITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. VHSEQUIPMENT.COM LAIBLITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, IN THE SOLE DISCRETION OF VHSEQUIPMENT.COM, OF ANY PRODUCT. CUSTOMER AGREES THAT IN NO EVENT SHALL LIABLITY OF VHSEQUIPMENT.COM EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY CUSTOMER.

This Agreement represents the entire agreement between customer and VHSequipment.com with respect to its subject matter, subject only to the credit agreement, if any, between customer and VHSequipment.com and the invoice descriptions of goods, pricing and quantity. These terms are subject to change by VHSequipment.com at any time without prior notice. Terms of customer's purchase orders, offers or other terms and conditions are void and without effect. In the event that any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall not be affected and shall continue in full force and effect. No failure by VHSequipment.com to exercise any remedy for breach shall operate as a waiver of any other right or subsequent breach. Headings are for convenience only, and shall not affect the enforcement of any provision.
